Well hello there Mr Lincoln!!!! (Joey in Friends...)
Sorry I haven't blogged much so far, but James is writing so much drivel every day that I didn't want to steal his thunder!
Hello to everyone out there who reads this (Chris) - if you could all just send us a quick mail so that we can chart our user base...
Just like to add that the music, reading list, etc are only for James - mine changes too often! The drinking is true though - I love the old Speckled Hen (cluck, cluck - or is it glug, glug...).
I'm still living a life of luxury at home with our angelic new child who is always quiet, contented and sleeps through the night. Oh no - that was a dream I had the other night. Still, bless.
Bye to all our fans out there in webland, and sleep tight.

ummm, darn, ummm, these archives are driving me mad, it now appears that all the March entries are back on the main page as well as being on the March archive page, also the 'home' link that I created has now gone. Well it keeps me on my toes I s'pose.

Am investigating the archive issue, they are all there in the March archive but the system seems to have archived them a few days early.
Emily is 2 months old today, how time flies it seems like only a couple of months ago that she was born.
She drives me crazy!

Poor little Emily has a very nasty cold at the moment which has resulted in
her little nose becoming blocked, this is not good news for her as she is unable
to breathe through it and she does not understand why and becomes a bit frightened (arrrhhhhh).

Now there's a surprise

I thought that I would mention the little matter of a football game that took place last night, but I have been thinking about what to say all day and
have been unable to contemplate even thinking about it let alone writing about it so all I will say is well done Celtic the better team won on the night!

I heard about this on the radio yesterday and it seems to be generating quite a response. I must admit that I am on Amazon's side (although I would have tried to purchase the item myself), I would not have minded/been surprised when it was not delievered.

It's been a long wait (2 weeks) but the day has arrived......the weigh in, as
you will probably remember last time Emily weighed 7lb 8oz, and now she weighs in at 9lb on the nose.

Here is a picture of a very handsome man doing his bit for Red Nose day, maybe not as much as some but the thought was there. In the background is a picture of Rebecca (taken a little while ago) and on the screen is one of Emily (taken not so long ago).

Now from my experience school concerts are not all that cool but this one may well be a bit different I expect. What a stroke of luck if you attend that school! although would you still have to sit on those tiny chairs or wooden benches?

Went to the Malvern Hills this weekend, here are some pics, and some more
Pictures taken with a Panasonic NV-GS5 camcorder resolution of 0.8MP.
I have resized them using HTML code rather than manipulating them in
Photoshop for speed.

It's Comic Relief night again and I have been watching the celeb
Fame Academy this week and am amazed that Ruby
has made the final, although to be fair she has improved since it started.
I would have to vote for Will though as he is the better singer.
Kwame is a good singer but he did not improve whilst in there, and
that must be a major factor in deciding who wins.

On a different matter I watched the Liverpool v Celtic game last
night and felt that on the whole Liverpool deserved a draw although
I believe it will be very difficult for them at Anfield as they will be
expected to win. As for Mr Diouf he was well out of order,
it does not matter if he did receive taunts or a slap on the head
from the crowd (that is part of the game I am afraid) he needs to rise above it and remember that he is the one earning thousands of pounds a week
for kicking a ball around.

Well then I'm off to purchase a nice little island somewhere hot, with my

in me gaining £3 a whole £1 profit!!

Feeling a tad tired today as Emily seems to be under the
weather and suffering from either a cold or chest infection,
and is feeding every 3-4 hours. Emily is having her 6 week
check today and will not be weighed again until next Thursday,
so place your bets as to what you think she will weigh
(remember last time she was 7lb 8oz's.)

On second thoughts I will keep the space to the right blank as viewers using
a screen resolution of 800x600 would not see any items placed there as
indeed they can't see the blank section anyway!

Hello, I have been playing around with the layout of the blog and have had
a few issues (to say the least), with the archives (again). Please bear with
me during this time of stress. The family are well although Helen may be
coming down with a cold (nice).
Emily is fine and the feeding is progressing well, she had 6oz's of milk for
breakfast, for her weight the guidelines recommend 3 oz's per feed so the
weight will be going up me thinks :-)

Okay here we go........with the weekly weigh-in, Emily now weighs 7lb 8oz and is 52cm in length.
So she is putting on an ounce a day / half a pound a week.
This is good news, she had been feeding a little BUT often over the last couple of days, but from last night she has been taking more milk.

Have you seen all the hype surrounding all this 3G stuff
it's mad. We all know that the major Telecom companies have paid
through the nose for the licenses from the Government (nice little earner)
and are now v keen to try and re-coup some of this money, but are people
prepared to pay a lot more for the ability to send a picture or see
who they are phoning, phones that show you the person calling have been
around for some time and no one likes them because of the fact that they can be seen.

I think the phone companies will have a job to get their investment back from this technology.
The phones will cost from £400 and the monthly rental will be £60-£100

Although to take up this cheap offer you will need to
pre register

Well what a grand weekend of sport we have just seen Liverpool beating United in the Worthigton Cup Final and Gloucester beating Leicester in the Rugby.
I watched the last 15 minutes of the Gloucester game and must admit that they were lucky, as their pack was being shoved all over the park by the Leicester pack which was much stronger by this stage of the game. It would be difficult to know for sure if the replacement was a tactical move, but who cares they have won and will probably win the final.
