“Did you just touch my squirrel?”

Episode 6

Statham is unusually cheerful, but it will probably end in tears. Mac finds it hard to adjust to his new role, Martin hires a private detective and Caroline has a hot date. Guy is green with envy, Joanna’s cousin is green with makeup – one leads to bloodshed, the other to death.

Sue White – Staff Liaison Officer (Michelle Gomez)
Completely obsessed with Mac, Sue hates her job almost as much as she hates Caroline. The highpoints in her day invariably revolve around updating his personal file and winding the rest of staff up when they come to her for advice. Her wardrobe is entirely made-up from the Dead Box, her suit came from a fatal road traffic accident and she had to wait four days to get her boots from a stroke victim.

“You come in here every week, with your sordid little tales, but I know, whatever whoever you're doing, it's my face you see before you. Yeah, yeah, because I was the one who broke you first, wasn't I? And you just can't get me out of your head”

“Key member of the team, no. Scatterbrained floozy, yes”

“Dr Macartney, Dr Macartney, yes, I'm always on your side, you know I'm by your side, I'm up your side, I'm through your side, I'm *under* your side... I'm all over your side”

“Did you just touch my squirrel?”

“The Lion's mane. Truly is the King of beasts”

Nominated for a Scottish BAFTA for Best TV Performance for her role as Janice in The Book Group, Michelle Gomez trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Theatre. She is currently shooting Feel the Force, a new six-part comedy series for BBC 2 and will begin shooting Lead Balloon, written and starring Jack Dee, in April. Michelle’s other television credits include Carrie & Barry I & II, Murder in Suburbia and Ready When You are Mr McGill. She has performed in the Vagina Monologues as well as films including Chromophobia and Subterrain.
